OF PARTICULAR INTEREST


of particular interest
not anything particular
yet door remains open
welcoming most any
promising surprise to enter

enter some psychobabble
formaldehyde on the side
got the makings for
one hell of a party, not to mention
 one hell of a surprise.


massive gyroscope
rotating, circling, dancing.
bizarre kinetic energy.

faster, faster, faster still
volatile motivation.
performance like none other.


and there I was,
a duck out of water.
and all around me

chickens, chickens, chickens.
more and more chickens.
all that clucking could drive
an out of water duck
 crazy, crazy, crazy!

damned chickens!
 all that damned clucking!
there is no justice;
not for ducks out of water.


like a monkey,
chasing itself up a tree
is how my day went.

how did your day go?
any monkey business?
any funny business?


am too old to worry
over old mistakes.
screaming out for
recognition.

fitting in; somewhere
to belong.
seeking a path profound
and lacking direction.


so little solitude remains
in this congested life we live.
so savor what little remains,
and we turn over a new page.
one last circled go around.

MOTIVATION

humans need motivation. without motivation, humans stagnate. stagnation breeds madness. madness: burning, burning bright. what magnificence! sunrise! sunset! eloquence of such loveliness. ride high in spirit of the mind. then there are those folks either unable to read a map, or unwilling to read a map. no, much to simple, when something so simple can be turned into something so confusing and absolutely frustrating. maps show one road leading from point A to point B. following road makes it almost impossible getting lost. now, these folks use step by step, computerized directions and become hopelessly lost. it is at times like these, find it quite refreshing having a  good loud scream! look at a freaking map, people? cannot get any easier than that. okay, then, have had that scream. feeling much better.  retreating into one's self and finding comfort there is, indeed, greatest of all comfor

NEUROTIC
