CAUSE TO REFLECT

looking conspicuous is not excuse.

excuse me, sir, you look conspicuous.

this could be construed 

as aiding and abetting.

yet to decided; friend or foe?

start with friends,

work back towards foe.

but then, one should never

take on more than one can chew.

do not pass go, but go quietly

into that great unknown.

phone home, E.T., phone home.

vertigo, walking fast, talking trash.

making mental note:

stay well clean of vertigo.

all vertigo has ever done,

and will always do:

screw up a good thing going.

do not struggle;

this will all be over soon.

the hurt will subside, eventually.

no pain, no gain, and all of that.

blame vertigo, always. do it.

such benevolence,

never before seen in a

duck goose relationship.

brings tear to one's eyes,

just viewing such romantic

fowl love between two

freshly plucked lovebirds;

soon to be brighten supper

table with lusciousness. 

evidence marks the way,
they say, they being them
involved in crime detection;
process of discovery.


then come the courts
where the circus begins;
complete with clowns.

guilty, not guilty, who cares?
this is as performance, after all;
a circus with clowns. 

we'll dance and jig and
have us a great old time.
it's a circus, after all.

some of us hide from the world,
not that we don't like the world;
world is just so damned scary.

death and mayhem and
all that fine stuff. dang it!
yet, extenuating circumstances
suggest survival rate
increasing dramatically.

so, who knows? death and
mayhem may collide
producing beautiful rainbow effect
then skedaddle off into
the far off unknown regions,
live to fight another day.
